The market ended the week up 264pts at 41464. During the week FIPI net outflow reversed to USD2.2mln. Last week saw an outflow of USD8.3mln. Average volume was down 30pc to 403mln shares. Value traded was down 19pc to Rs 13.8bln.
Banks, OMC's and Autos moved higher. Fertilizer and Cements were flat. Second tier stocks saw price action. ATLH, CSAP were the top performers for the week moving higher by 13 and 14pc. ALTN, EMCO, ADOS, ISIL moved lower. Going forward the market seems likely to test 41500, focusing on upcoming quarterly annoucements, though political noise could introduce some volatility into the mix.
