The index closed down 200pts to to close at 33946. It was a dull day with market volumes and value traded falling 25pc to 131mln shares and Rs 5.7bln.
Regional market pressure was felt at the exchange in the aftermath of the Paris attacks. Dawood Hercules, MCB, OGDC and PPL accounted for half of today's index loss. The days gainers were Frontier ceramics and Shabbir tiles up almost 12pc. Ghani autos was up 11pc. Emco and. Noon Pakistan closed up 8pc and 5pc. Losers were Saudi Pak leasing, Haseeb Waqas Sugar.
