The Market closed up 270pts almost 1pc higher at 32891. Turnover was 182mln shares and value traded was Rs8.2bln. Volume leaders were NIB, KEL, FCCL, BOP and Cherat Cement. Foreign funds are flowing in both directions making the index volatile. Crude oil prices are adding more fuel to the fire. Cement sector is proving to be a major driver of foreign inflows. Cherat Cement rose 3.5pc today on highest value traded since six months. ATRL was the top performer hitting uppercap. Fatima Fertilizer announced full year EPS without any dividend payout ending the day at lower lock making it today's worst performer. Cement sector led the market today, with banks, Refineries and Oil and Gas sector adding their support.
